Theme built up over few years of living in Edinburgh and also as a result of regular trips to the north of the country. The location which is absolutely beautiful in its severity can be the most troublesome when it comes to catching light, but probably that is why the pictures from Scotland are the more precious.
It is known as the Incredible India. My visit to a few different parts of this country, such as Goa and Golden Triangle, let me make my little, yet exciting discoveries. However, I still have this impression of only having scratched the surface. So, here it is, with its highlights and shadows - always incredible and unique, though. India.
Travelling across Thailand brought me many new challenges. Not only has it been to trekking from place to place, but also to meeting amazing local people encountered there. Having seen them living in their everyday environment, cultivating their traditions and culture, was the most inspirational photography experience for me so far.
Italy is known for its considerable architectural achievements including many world famous landmarks, rich culture, top fashion, original paintings, well known music and distinctive natural landscapes. These aspects encouraged me to visit this country not only once and hopefully this folder will develop even more in future.
Series of photos from autumn Tenerife and Gran Canaria taken as an attempt to present a bit less commercial site of the Canaries. Places photographed include not only those most famous ones but also some off the beaten track, featuring mostly volcanic character of the islands and their unique moonlike landscapes.
England has been a challenge for the photographers not only because of the historical and cultural heritage, but also amazing landscapes: intact forests, picturesque hills, bathed in the sunshine sea-side and charming villages. These images come from a couple of trips to England and feature the most memorable places.
Three weeks on the crossroads between East and West shown from the backpacker`s point of view. Behind every photo there is a particular story about Turkish impressing culture, mixture of oriental and Roman, traditional and modern, wild and civilized. The whole collection is as bright and diverse as the country photographed.
Pictures of the country far away from wealthy resorts and elegant entertainment, to take which ones one needs to head down the south and visit the places with true Berber spirit. Most of the photos were shot in the south-west part of Tunisia and some of them only a few kilometers from Algerian border.
My own POV from a unique event held by Sony. Spread across the globe, 7 football matches took place in 7 stunning world locations to show how Exmor R™ CMOS Sensor technology captures incredible detail and fast-moving action in low light filming conditions – one of the toughest challenges in digital photography and filming.
This collection includes some square version samples of random photos from my other folders. The purpose for that is to give you idea, how just by manipulating the shape of the shot one can change the whole image. It is possible to order square versions of any of my photos, however consultation is suggested.
The B&W photography lacking the brightness and beauty of colours concentrates on other aspects of images, such as contrasts, shades, forms and shapes. This folder has been created for all those, who do not consider B&W photography sad and sepulchral but rather engaging and intense.
This is a miscellany of all the photos, which for some reasons cannot be included in the other folders, mostly because of different character, photographed object or specific technique - sporadically experimental. One can find the style of included works very comprehensive and even accidental.
Paris has been ranked among the three most important and influential cities in the world. During my short, but active visit to this world's most popular city destination, I realised how magic and romantic this place is: a lively cosmopolitan, but undeniably French city with plenty of must-see landmarks and attractions.
